In just a few hours, a new virtual reality experience will be available on Steam Early Access for all HTC Vive and Oculus Rift owners. Coming from Japanese studio IVR, TSUN-TSUN VR is a simulation that lets you experience what it feels like to be touched by an anime girl, thanks to the haptic feedback of a custom-made vest. The simulation, ideal for the virgin inside you, is free. The haptic vest required to feel the contact, however, will set you back a few hundred dollars.
What Is TSUN-TSUN VR?
As the most immersive form of electronic entertainment available today, virtual reality lets you experience incredible things, like fighting alongside Goku or lying on an anime girl's lap. Now IVR, a VR development studio based in Tokyo, is ready to offer players (especially otakus) a detailed simulation of another thrilling experience with its new game TSUN-TSUN VR: getting poked in the chest by an anime girl!
Tsun tsun is the Japanese onomatopoeia for push, and that's the charm of TSUN-TSUN VR: letting you feel the thin, firm fingertips of an anime girl touching your torso, with some occasional hugs, through a tactile vest you wear while playing. The striking thing is that IVR proudly describes the game as follows: "The world of Ready Player One has come to life! In this game, you can experience a girl pushing your body. Through the experience of being touched by a VR girl, we have given birth to an unprecedented sense of immersion." I don't know about you, but I must have missed that part of the movie where the heroes stop their treasure hunt to be pushed by anime girls.
The Cost of Immersion
In the future, IVR plans to add a feature allowing players to swap different avatars for Koino Katsiki (the anime girl). This "simulation" can only be played while wearing the Tactot, a haptic vest that adds a new level of immersion to the experience, manufactured by bHaptics. And while the game itself is free to download, you'll need to shell out a few hundred dollars for the Tactot vest to feel those pushes. Eventually, IVR plans to expand the range of tactile devices to enjoy the experience.

Therefore, we assume there are many people in need of human contact in the world.
The question is: Is the experience worth it? That's for you to decide. Developed by IVR, TSUN-TSUN VR will be available in just hours, for free, on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift via Steam. For now, the game is only available in Japanese, but language doesn't seem to be a major barrier to controlling it.
