MegaBots, Inc. is a robotic hardware company based in Boston, United States, that specializes in creating a new sports league: giant robot combat. To this end, the company uses cutting-edge robotic technology to create a new mecha 15 feet tall and six tons in weight. This giant, named MegaBot Mark II, is piloted internally via two cabins, one for the driver and one for the gunner, shoots paintballs from its cannons, and has armor that cracks and breaks, emitting smoke and sparks as it is heavily impacted, even losing limbs until it falls completely destroyed.
Don't be surprised if the first thing that comes to mind is the epic mecha battles from classic Gundam anime, because the people at MegaBots (wasn't there an anime with that same name?) based themselves on the robot fights we loved in anime and video games. Kuratas, the million-euro mecha, is controlled by a pilot in its cabin. It is equipped with the LOHAS launcher that allows it to fire water rockets and air-compressed machine guns that can shoot up to six thousand bullets per minute. For now, the advantage goes to MegaBot Mark II because it has greater size and weight and also has two pilots inside. The only flaw of both robots is that they cannot walk: Kuratas moves using wheels while MegaBot Mark II has two legs with tracks.
