Verizon’s U.S. update records list Android 17 and One UI 9.0 for five Galaxy S25 models, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. The records give October 2, 2026, as the release date and list the September 2026 Android security patch level.

NeoTeo previously covered a reported stable One UI 9 rollout for Galaxy S25 phones in South Korea; that coverage provides context for Verizon’s separate U.S. update records.

Verizon’s October 2 records cover seven Galaxy models

The models listed are the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Edge, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. Verizon’s model-specific records pair each with Android 17 and One UI 9.0, and give October 2, 2026, as the release date.

Samsung says One UI 9 is rolling out gradually. It also says Galaxy AI feature availability can vary by model, language and region.

What Verizon lists in the S25 and Z7 update notes

For the Galaxy S25 family, Verizon lists My FanCam, generative and editable Now Brief cards, Call Brief and Creative Studio. My FanCam lets you select a person in a recorded video and reframes the footage to keep that person centered. Now Brief cards provide daily summaries across health, weather and video; Call Brief places relevant information on the call screen. Creative Studio can suggest image-generation ideas tied to upcoming events.

Verizon’s Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 notes also list Warranty and Care, Now Nudge, Interpreter History View, Security Brief and Privacy Alerts.
