A long time ago in Argentina, when buses gave us numbered tickets, if you got one with a palindromic number, many of us believed that was a sign that it was finally going to be a good day. We even kept those tickets in our wallets, so that luck would stay with us wherever we went! Of course, it's all a lie, but it was a completely harmless habit. And... who knows?
