VirtualMIDISynth is a MIDI synthesizer that runs on your computer as a multimedia user controller. And it is fully accessible as a standard MIDI output device.
If you are one of the many MIDI or karaoke users, you know that playback quality in Windows leaves much to be desired – it has no effects support, mono output, and so on.
To avoid having to set up complicated virtual MIDI chains, the developers have created a very good output synthesizer (a virtual MIDI output device controller) that offers a solution to this playback problem.
Installation and Setup
After downloading the application from its official page (you need administrator permissions), you'll need to download the SoundFonts and add them to VirtualMIDISynth.
At this point, you'll need to mount your MIDI application and set VirtualMIDISynth as the default device.
