Despite the bad reviews, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is being a worldwide box office success. And whether you've seen the movie or not, we tell you that now you can take a virtual tour through Bruce Wayne's mansion and… visit the Batcave on Google Maps! Apparently the Wayne Mansion is not in Gotham City but on the outskirts of Detroit, more precisely in Orion Township, Michigan, on Google Maps. As usual, the way to tour the place is the same as any other Street View interface, with 360-degree panoramic images that you can explore at your leisure from the comfort of your computer, tablet, or phone.
Google Maps has a history of peculiar places to explore; from visiting Mars and the Moon or touring the interior of the TARDIS from the British series Doctor Who are just some of the places we can explore. This time virtual visitors can tour the elegant Wayne Mansion, which has a beautiful lakefront view, where they won't take long to go through a dark hallway that will take them straight to the Batcave, Batman's base of operations where the first thing that catches your eye is the new Batmobile.
In the adjacent room, next to the stairs, you can see the old Robin suit (with the Joker's graffiti) along with some of Batman's tools on full display. On the upper floor is the laboratory and a bunch of high-tech equipment where you can take a look at the armor suit that the Dark Knight used to face Superman. Unfortunately, the stairs leading to the upper levels of the cave are off limits. Even so, you can explore on your own both the interiors of Wayne Mansion and the Batcave and discover what the private life of Bruce Wayne and Batman is like.
