Welcome to this weekly meeting of visual sybarites. A gathering for anyone who wants to, in just a few minutes, see the best images of the week. The menu? The Visual Dump, a gourmet salad with all the images that have been going around in the last few days. For dessert, a dramatic blockbuster for those tired of horror. Enjoy!

The litter frog is known to form a mutualistic relationship with the burrowing tarantula. The tarantula provides protection from predators and food scraps to the frog, while the frog protects the tarantula's eggs from ants and other bugs that eat them.

This is the Danish explorer Peter Freuchen. They say of him that "he completed a 1,000 km journey by dog sled and got trapped in an avalanche; he escaped with a knife made from his own frozen feces. He killed a wolf with his bare hands, fought against the Nazis and escaped from a concentration camp."

Zorba the Greek (1964): You probably know this movie for the little dance scene on the beach. And yes, it's a classic. One of those that many recognize from references, but few have seen. And, honestly, as a guy who usually avoids dramas, I loved this one. Reason vs passion and with many touches of comedy. A charming experience with the one and only Anthony Quinn. Highly recommended.
