Maleficio (2022): Horror movies that actually scare you are rare, and this one almost manages it, which is a lot more than can be said for many others. What it does create is a sense of unease from the start. It's oriental horror, with its own idiosyncrasies, and that is also quite strange for someone used to a different handling of the genre, which plays very much in its favor.
