The other day a friend told me he hadn't seen any Steve Martin movies and asked me to make him a list of his five best films. Leap of Faith I put in third place, only below Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987) and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988). I didn't put it first because it's an atypical movie for the actor, since it can't be considered a pure comedy, which is where Steve shines. That same night I watched it again and, folks, it has aged perfectly. If you've never seen it, do yourself a favor and go do it. If you've seen it, go watch it again. Suitable for all audiences.
