Although it is a cult classic, not too many people are watching Near Dark in 2018. It's a vampire movie where a good guy is kidnapped by some bad vampires... who want to turn him into one of their own! It's pure 80s cinema, goes hand in hand with The Lost Boys (they are from the same year, even) and, at times, it feels like a western. IT'S EXCELLENT, 100% genre cinema, in a decade where the genre was almost invented.
