The vivo S60 suits buyers seeking a powerful phone for media, gaming and telephoto photography. Its strongest feature is the display, but the China configuration has a major trade-off: it has no Google Services.
The 6.59″ AMOLED panel combines 5,000 nits, 144 Hz, 459 ppi and a 90.7% screen-to-body ratio. Brightness, refresh rate, pixel density and front-surface use are among the best figures of its time. IP68, IP69 and IP67 protection add resistance to water and dust. The body weighs 207 g and is 7.9 mm thick.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage provide a strong hardware base, while its AnTuTu result is better than most phones of its time. This version has 12GB / 256GB, while the vivo S60 is sold from 12GB / 256GB up to 16GB / 512GB. The 7,200 mAh battery and 90 W charging are also better than most phones of its time. The 50 MP main camera has optical image stabilization, and the telephoto camera adds 3x optical zoom. 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4 and dual SIM are included.
