The vivo T5 has been on sale since September 1. It suits people who put a large, capable display and a high-capacity battery first, with a trade-off: its 44 W fast charging is below average for phones of its time.
The 6.83″ AMOLED display pairs a 144 Hz refresh rate with 3,000-nit peak brightness and 450 ppi. Both its refresh rate and brightness are better than most phones launched around the same time, and pixel density is also higher than on most. The 12 GB of DDR5 RAM accompanies a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo; performance and hardware are better than most phones of its time.
Its 7,050 mAh battery has more capacity than most, though 44 W charging is the weaker side of the trade-off. The 50 MP main camera has optical image stabilization, but its 1/1.95″ sensor is smaller than those in most phones of its time. Camera performance as a whole is above average among phones launched around the same time.
