Websites to Download Free STL Files and 3D Models (Second Part)

In our first part of websites to download STL files and 3D models, we left out several very interesting platforms. The 3D model repositories we'll list in this second part are free and have a large database of 3D printable models. You'll also be able to: download and sell your STL files, get models for Zortrax 3D printers, enjoy tutorials to build 3D designs, among many other services.

Fab365

Fab365 is a platform for purchasing 3D designs. Registered users can buy, sell, and download 3D models. All STL files are perfectly organized into categories (gadgets, art, home, architecture, etc.). The vast majority of Fab365's database is commercial. But you'll find a good number of free STL files.

Zortrax Library

Recently, the company Z-Suite separated the library from its program, called Zortrax Library. In this way, all users can access the database of STL files for free (even if you don't own Z-Suite). The vast majority of the printables are optimized to be used with ABS filament.

Repables

Repables is a website to download STL files for 3D printing. It is totally focused on sharing spare parts, that "thing" of the "thing" that broke and you need to repair something. The platform doesn't have a community service development. It's simply a repository of items uploaded by other users that you can download at your leisure.

Instructables

Instructables is one of the best known on the list, and also one of the best. It's an excellent community website where users can share their handmade projects (including printable models). Along with the 3D models to download, you'll also find tutorials and instructions on how to build the design. Among all the amazing things to download, you can find wonders like the one in the video

Polar Cloud

Polar Cloud is an online social platform for free STL files and printable 3D designs. The environment places strong emphasis on education and collaboration of elements for 3D printing. So, if you're a learner or enthusiast of printable designs, you have to check out the website. You have different subscription types, including a free one. The lessons range from maintenance of the 3D printer
