An old-school slasher with the A24 seal of quality. A breath of fresh air among so many meta-slashers. Intended mostly for genre fans, but not because it's self-referential, but because it's classic. Most of the film is a dramedy (as they call the mix between drama and comedy), the last part is devastating and completely cuts off the narrative it was building. Highly recommended if you're interested in the genre. Not for watching with kids or parents: it has a lot of boobs and filth.
