Weekly Visual Dump (No. 64)

Another week, another Dump. It doesn't miss! And if it does, it's because I'm dead or because they fired me for writing so much nonsense. Hoping none of that happens, here's the image selection for this week, with absolutely everything you like. Art, food, jokes, memes, and everything that manages to get us a smile now and then, which is much more than we can say about the rest of this dystopian world around us.

And no, I didn't forget to include a movie at the end. A choice that will certainly be controversial for being ridiculous, but that has its niche among many of those of us who in the 80s and 90s delighted in the cult gore cinema of the likes of Peter Jackson and Sam Raimi. Hopefully you enjoy it!

Yes, yes, I know what you're going to say: "Maxi, how are you going to recommend this atomic trash in your prestigious NeoTeo image column?" Well, my friend, if you think Zombeavers is atomic trash, it's because your understanding of 80s B-movie horror is MINIMAL. Let's start with the obvious: the movie is about zombie beavers. I mean, it's not — nor does it try to be — Shakespeare. From the very first scene (which features a cameo by Bill Bur) it's CRYSTAL CLEAR that it's not meant to be taken seriously. If you do, sorry, but you're an idiot. And yes, when it first came online I started watching it with the same skepticism you probably have right now, but I ended up having a great time. From beginning to end. A cult film that has such a bad reputation only because there are too many "rat kids" running around, the kind who understand nothing about classic gore cult films. If you like "trash cinema", and if you get into the game it proposes, I can say — without blushing — that Zombeavers is a spectacle you shouldn't miss. But if you have sand in your panties, skip it because you're going to hate it and then you'll come bother us in the comments with your "me no likey"?
