Instead of putting things in, what happens if we don't let them out? There are people who can go hours (or even whole days!) without going to the bathroom. What is the body's reaction? Of course, the questions go far beyond physiology. We are curious by nature, and even when the questions seem absurd, deep down we want to know the answer.

That's what Digg's "What Would Happen If..." section aims at. The best way to see this content is to visit their page directly, but several of the videos can be found on YouTube. Some questions carry significant risk, for example, what would happen if we stuck a knife into an electrical outlet, or if we didn't go to the hospital when we have a broken bone. Another interesting one is what it would be like to live on potatoes like Mark Watney (spoiler: they keep you alive, but without fats and without proteins it's not pretty, just as it happens to Mark).

Finally, we get to the "microwave inside the microwave". In relaxed terms, a microwave is a Faraday cage designed for the 2.45 GHz at which the device operates. Therefore, the energy of the first microwave cannot penetrate completely into the second, but everything around it (electronics, plastic) is going to have a very bad time, and the same extends to the larger microwave. Unfortunately, Digg never shows the microwave in flames. What a pity. (?)
