Since its launch and to this day, WhatsApp has more than 700 million users who use the app on their mobile to send messages. Now the app has a new service called WhatsApp Web that lets you use the app from your computer's browser.
WhatsApp has finally launched its service WhatsApp Web, which allows users to be connected from the browser without using a mobile device. To use this new service, you need to go to the WhatsApp site and scan the QR code with your mobile, which will sync the web version with the mobile device, so you can resume conversations and messages. While this is excellent news for the community, the service also has a couple of limitations, especially for iOS users because it is not compatible with Apple's operating system.
Those users who have the latest WhatsApp update installed on Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry systems will be able to use the new WhatsApp Web service on a computer, laptop, and/or tablet. Another point of criticism is that the service can only be used from the Chrome browser, as it does not work in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. It is worth remembering that until before this update, the Telegram app, the main competition of WhatsApp, was the only one that had both a web and mobile version at the same time.
For now, users who own an iPhone will have to wait. It will be a matter of time until WhatsApp Web is launched on iOS systems. And who knows, maybe with luck an update will come out that allows using other browsers. On the other hand, those users who have the ability to use WhatsApp Web will be able to enjoy continuing to send messages to their contacts from the comfort of their computer.
