Although it may seem unbelievable, there have been two recent pieces of news related to Windows XP. The first is that its activation system was cracked after 21 years. The new generator works completely offline, without contacting Microsoft. Why is it important? Because there is still infrastructure that depends on that operating system. In certain environments (say, isolated machines that don't need an Internet connection), the change of software doesn't justify the complete replacement of the equipment, and Windows XP simply works well.
The other news is that someone managed to virtualize Windows 10 inside XP. The most common thing is to do the reverse process, but on the Nobel Tech channel they took a compatible version of VMware Workstation with Windows XP Professional x64, and proceeded to install the original build of Windows 10, also known as 10240.

Unfortunately, the video doesn't share any details about the exact version of VMware Workstation, but the most important thing here is the x64 edition of Windows XP Professional. On one hand, it's necessary to add 'Professional' to the description because 'Windows XP x64' is the version compatible with Intel Itanium platforms. On the other hand, Windows XP Professional x64 carries several limitations, including lack of support for UEFI, removal of NTVDM, loss of hibernation with 4GB RAM or more, and exclusive use of 64-bit drivers, probably the weakest point.
Aside from that, the installation process for Windows 10 ends without issues, but it's a build without much utility these days, since most software requires Windows 10 1607 (or 14393) as a minimum.
