The Poco F9 Ultra has been on sale since September 1. It suits buyers looking for a powerful, feature-packed phone, with one clear trade-off: at 235 g, it is heavier than most phones of its time. Its 6.9-inch AMOLED display pairs a 185 Hz refresh rate, among the best of its time, with 4,500-nit peak brightness, higher than that of most phones launched around the same time. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ are also supported.
Performance is better than most: the phone records 4,165,108 in AnTuTu v11. This version has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage; the Poco F9 Ultra is also sold with 16 GB / 512 GB and 16 GB / 1 TB. Storage is not expandable. For photography, its 5x optical zoom is among the best of its time, and the camera overall is among the best. The main camera records video at up to 8K at 30 fps.
The 8,050 mAh battery has more capacity than most phones of its time. Its 100 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging are among the best, and reverse wireless charging is included.
