We all know that moment when your phone dies unexpectedly and there’s nothing you can do about it. Well, enough of that. It’s time you met XOO Belt, the belt that charges your phone.

How many times have you been left without battery on your phone at the worst moment? Plenty, surely. For those cases, British company Nifty has a new alternative to solve that annoying problem. Its name is XOO Belt, and it’s a belt that charges your phone anytime, anywhere. The belt contains a flexible 2,100 mAh battery that can charge almost any device and features a microUSB connection that lets you charge your phone while it’s in your pocket.

As you can see in the video, the charging cable is magnetic and invisible, tucked inside the belt when not in use. With no configuration at all, XOO Belt lets you charge your phone effortlessly whether on a walk, a train ride, or hanging out with friends at the bar. The belt is made of full-grain leather and houses a flexible battery made of six stacked layers with a base power of 1,300 mAh. Add the 800 mAh from the zinc buckle, totaling 2,100 mAh, enough to fully charge an iPhone 6.

This all became possible thanks to Nifty running a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, where the generosity of backers brought in $77,960 dollars, which the company will use for mass production of these smart belts. You can pre-order your own belt in two designs: a classic one and a trendier one, priced between $125 and $155 dollars, respectively. XOO Belt works with iOS, Android, and Windows devices and will be available starting June 2015.
