XREAL identified October 28, 2026, as AURA’s official launch date. On November 3, ComputerHoy reported that US orders were open through XREAL’s website from a starting price of $1,099, with shipments expected to begin in mid-November. XREAL’s broader estimate for its initial markets was shipping before the 2026 holiday season, according to its launch and shipping FAQ.
The US order report and shipping estimate
The November 3 price and order status are a dated report, not a live price quote. ComputerHoy reported that shipping was expected to start around mid-November; XREAL gave a broader pre-holiday estimate for its initial markets. The two estimates describe planned shipping, not a delivery date for a particular order.
Markets in XREAL’s initial plan
XREAL named the US, Canada, Japan and South Korea as initial shipping markets. The company said Europe and Australia were not part of the initial 2026 launch and had no confirmed timeline for those regions, according to its regional availability update.
What reservation credit and priority mean
XREAL says a $99 Launch Credit can be applied as $199 toward AURA. Unused reservation benefits remain valid through April 28, 2027. One code can be used per order; codes cannot be combined, and a redeemed code becomes invalid if the order is canceled. XREAL’s launch-offer FAQ also says eligible customers who paid in full before October 28 would receive the applicable price difference automatically, with refunds expected to be initiated within 30 days of that date.
Shipping priority depends on pass type and when full payment was completed. XREAL says priority does not guarantee a place in the first shipment batch or a specific delivery date.
