Almost 25 years later, developer Aaron Demeter has brought balance to the galaxy by creating a replica of the game in Unity, which all fans of the show can access for free.
It was December 17, 1995. Episode 11 of the seventh season, during The Simpsons' golden age: Bart's brain melts when he sees the ad for the new game "Bonestorm" ('Apocalipsis' in the Latin dub), and getting it becomes a nightmare. Marge refuses to buy it because it's 'too expensive and violent', Homer tells him to work for money, Milhouse gets him kicked out of the house, the Comic Book Guy has no rental copies left, and Bart goes so far as to steal the cartridge (with a 'suggestion' from Jimbo and Nelson), but is caught at the last moment.

Developer Aaron Demeter published a fairly convincing Unity replica of "Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge" on the Itch platform, including the original voice. As far as golf simulation goes, it's as horrible and boring as Bart made it out to be. The only difference is that you can 'play well' by choosing the putter and 'feather touch'... but come on, I know you're here to send the ball to the parking lot.
Are we expecting any legal claims? Knowing Fox and Disney, they always have a nuclear missile ready to fire, but none other than Bill Oakley, executive producer and showrunner of seasons 7 and 8, gave his 'blessing' by sharing the remake on his Twitter account.
