De vivo X50 Pro Plus past bij wie een goed scherm en een veelzijdig camerasysteem belangrijk vindt. De belangrijkste keerzijde is het diafragma van f/1,9 van de hoofdcamera, dat minder goed is dan dat van de meeste telefoons uit zijn tijd. Het AMOLED-scherm van 6,56″ heeft een verversingssnelheid van 120 Hz, hoger dan die van de meeste telefoons uit die tijd, en een piekhelderheid van 1300 nits, een van de hoogste.
