Beta 5 uses two build packages for different hardware groups. The supported list runs from Pixel 6a through the listed Pixel 11-series models, and also includes Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet.

The list includes the Pixel 10 family, so those phones can receive this beta through the Android Beta Program or through the official manual-installation resources. The exact build matters: a Pixel 10 Pro XL hands-on update used CP41.260828.004.A8 and was 667 MB.
Interface changes seen in hands-on use
Beyond the issue list, hands-on use of Beta 5 shows several interface adjustments. The lock-screen Google Wallet shortcut can be customized from the Wallpaper & style settings. The Settings app also labels the battery section “Battery & charging,” and a new “Audio streams” Quick Settings tile lets users join active Auracast streams.
The same walkthrough shows the August 2026 security patch and the Beta 5 build number on a Pixel 10 Pro XL. Its performance impression was subjective: the phone felt snappier than the previous version during navigation. Before installing preview software, back up important data. Beta 5 brings a substantial list of stability fixes, but its status has not changed: it remains a test build rather than a stable Android release.
