There was a time when music player visualizers were quite striking and curious. Today this may go completely unnoticed for most users, but Audio Landscape is the new visualizer that will hypnotize you by generating a landscape in total change while you listen to your favorite music.
A look back at music visualizers
During the 1990s, something that always caught our attention when listening to music on the computer were the different visualizations that the Windows player contained. From bars and waves to spirals and whirlwinds, among many others, they were more than striking and curious to watch while our favorite song played. Today this may not sound as interesting as back then, but a new visualizer called Audio Landscape has just emerged that can generate a constantly changing landscape while you listen to music.
How Audio Landscape works
When you enter Audio Landscape, the site greets you with three visualizers: Green hills, Volcano, and Vapor (a kind of strange sequences). Upon selecting one of them, the site will ask you to drag an MP3 file that you have in some folder, or click on the screen and let a preset theme load from the site. You can try dragging an MP3 with the song you like most to the center of the screen and wait a few moments while it loads. Once the file is loaded, the song will automatically start playing while you view the landscape you have selected in total change following the rhythm of the music.
If you don't have an MP3 file, you can click on the screen and listen to the theme set for each scenario (in Green hills it plays a fragment of "Morning Mood" by Edvard Hagerup Grieg, while in Volcano it plays "Move Around" by Diplo, and in Vapor "Starworshipper" by Futurecop!). The site is very interesting and you won't hesitate to lose a good amount of time watching the landscape in total change while your favorite music plays. Audio Landscape works in both Chrome and Firefox browsers, while Safari often contains several errors. You've been warned!
