We all know that Disney seeks to transmit a very specific profile for its characters: pure, good, innocent, even vulnerable on some occasions. However, many artists out there are willing to explore a darker and more adult side of them. One of those artists is the Frenchman Gilen Bousquet, who through his series «Bastardos de Disney» presents us with addicted, hedonistic, and depressed versions of the company's main icons.
We have seen them as real people, and we also knew projects focused on the princesses, transformed into influencers and protagonists of noir novels. As much as Disney doesn't want it, its creations are an inexhaustible source of inspiration, and there is never a lack of a more «adult» interpretation, so to speak.
