Softzone reports that Chrome 157 adds a desktop shortcut for sending an open tab to another device: right-click the tab and choose “Send to my device.” The report says both devices must be signed in to the same Google Account. Google announced Chrome 157’s promotion to the desktop stable channel on November 3, 2026, and said rollout would take place over the coming days and weeks.

Send an open tab from desktop Chrome

The reported shortcut starts from the tab you want to share. Right-click it, then select “Send to my device.” The receiving device must be signed in to the same Google Account as the desktop device, according to Softzone.

On desktop, the reported shortcut is attached to the tab itself; the reported Android route starts from the address bar.

Android uses a different reported route

Softzone describes the Android method as opening the page, pressing and holding the address bar, and selecting the send option. It dates that method to Chrome 77 in 2019. The desktop right-click command is the shortcut Softzone reports for Chrome 157.
