Creotech Instruments plans to open a factory in Poland’s Mazowieckie region in 2029, with reported capacity of 40 satellites a year across different models or 100 of a single model. Against the 10-satellite capacity reported for its Piaseczno site, those scenarios work out to four times and ten times the baseline, respectively. The figures come from Euronews’ October 19, 2026, account of a Reuters interview with CEO Grzegorz Brona, and describe planned capacity, not achieved production (Euronews).
Two production scenarios, two different multiples
Euronews reported that the planned factory would be able to produce 40 satellites annually across different models, or 100 annually if making one model. The tenfold comparison applies to the second scenario: 100 ÷ 10 = 10. For the mixed-model scenario, 40 ÷ 10 = 4.
| Site or scenario | Reported capacity | Production mix | Compared with Piaseczno’s reported capacity |
| Piaseczno site | 10 satellites | Current site | 1× |
| Planned Mazowieckie factory | 40 satellites per year | Different models | 4× |
| Planned Mazowieckie factory | 100 satellites per year | One model | 10× |
These are comparisons of the reported capacity figures. The factory is a plan with a 2029 target opening, not a source of production capacity already in operation.
Making satellites is separate from launching them
Creotech’s production plans do not include launch vehicles. Euronews reported that SpaceX launched all four satellites Creotech built for Poland’s MikroGlob program, illustrating the separate role launch providers play in getting satellites into orbit.
