ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT), a Chinese manufacturer of dynamic random-access memory (DRAM), estimated Q3 2026 revenue at 114.7 billion to 119.7 billion yuan on October 16, 2026. The range represented estimated year-over-year growth of 589%–619%, according to CHOSUNBIZ’s October 17 report, which attributed the figures to STAR Market Daily and China Business News.
CXMT’s Q3 revenue forecast
The reported forecast also put revenue growth at 15%–20% from the second quarter. Both rates describe CXMT’s estimate for Q3 revenue, not separate measures of profit.
Profit estimates for Q3 and the first nine months
CHOSUNBIZ reported a Q3 net-profit estimate of 53.395 billion to 54.895 billion yuan, compared with net profit of 52.843 billion yuan in Q2.
For the first three quarters of 2026, CXMT estimated revenue of 265 billion to 270 billion yuan. The report put that at about 725%–741% above the 32.1 billion yuan reported for the same period a year earlier. The company’s estimated net profit for the first nine months was 131 billion to 132.5 billion yuan, compared with a net loss of 5.3 billion yuan in the year-earlier period.
CXMT’s explanation for the outlook
CXMT attributed its outlook to stronger demand for AI computing, DRAM supply that had not kept pace with demand, and rising prices. The company also pointed to capacity construction, product research and development, and process upgrades, which it said had improved wafer output and capacity utilization.
CXMT’s account also referred to economies of scale emerging. NeoTeo previously covered a separate reported CXMT equipment-spending plan.
Zhu Yiming’s proposed buyback
CHOSUNBIZ reported that CXMT chair Zhu Yiming proposed a share buyback worth 1 billion to 2 billion yuan on October 16, 2026. The proposal could be funded through equity or self-financing.
