The independent studio Fntastic is developing an FPS that takes you to an abandoned Soviet research base deep in Siberia. Gather your friends and get ready for Dead Dozen, a multiplayer horror game that pits Survivors against Ghouls.
Story and Setting
The story of Dead Dozen takes place in 1993, where a strange group of twelve people is trapped by a mysterious force inside an abandoned Soviet research base deep in Siberia. The game is being developed by the independent Russian studio Fntastic, known for The Wild Eight, who describe this new title as "a multiplayer action and horror game".

The twist of Dead Dozen is that one of the twelve players is randomly assigned to be a Ghoul monster at the start of the match, with the other eleven chosen among four Survivor roles: explorer, offensive, support, and defensive.
Each of the two teams, Survivors and Ghouls, is different in terms of gameplay, abilities, tactical capabilities, objectives, and visual accompaniment. Survivors can pick up and use firearms, various gadgets, and useful items, which can be used to create barricades in the building. Ghouls can infect humans, knock down walls, and use their special abilities to outperform humans in battle. Survivors who die or are infected by a Ghoul come back to life on the opposing team and try to chase down their former friends. It's worth noting that Ghouls don't have weapons, but they compensate with more health points.

The fact that the environments will be destructible is a good thing, and it makes it seem even more like a horror version of Rainbow Six Siege.
Release and Alpha
Dead Dozen is being developed by Fntastic and will be available on Windows. The game doesn't have a concrete release date, but you can pre-order the game and get access to the Alpha version, which is planned for January 8, 2018.
