The Epson Pano Awards have been celebrating the best in panoramic photography around the world for nine years, with outstanding examples divided into fantastic categories. The 2018 edition attracted almost 1,300 participants from 74 different countries, and handed out $50,000 in prizes, distributing cash, printers and projectors. Today we share with our readers a humble selection of 30 panoramas from the Nature, Architecture and Amateur categories.
This is what we talk about in basically every article dedicated to photography. You don't need to be a professional to find the best images of your life, and the proof is in all the categories of the Epson Pano Awards 2018. Some of the shots that appear there are truly unmissable, but they only represent a fraction of the winners, identified in this section of the official gallery.
Veselin Atanasov was declared "Photographer of the Year", and Nathaniel Merz was the main amateur winner. The other award worth highlighting belongs to the Virtual Reality category, where panoramas truly shine. Oleg Gaponyuk took first place, repeating last year's result.
