They say a trailer fulfills its purpose when it manages to show many scenes, and yet we understand nothing of what's happening. All I can say is the following: a young woman moves to the German Alps with her family, and what should be a wonderful change for her life becomes an absolute nightmare. Cuckoo presents us with Hunter Schafer (Euphoria), Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey), Jessica Henwick (Matrix Resurrections), Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), and Marton Csokas, one of the best villains of modern cinema. Cuckoo already passed through the Berlin Film Festival in February, will debut in Germany on July 18, and will reach the rest of theaters on August 9.
