It's time to take a moment with this week's recommended games, to spend a few guilt-free seconds in relaxing fun. Today we have a pretty good lineup: Dynamons, a Pokémon clone; Cuckoo Castle, about a knight who saves humans; and Super Squad, the tower defense of the week.

Online Games of the Week (March 10, 2016)
Cuckoo Castle

Avalancher

We start with a very fun game: Avalancher. Avalancher mixes the best of physics and destruction games with a shooting and platform game. Here you control a character who must collect the treasures scattered around the stage so that the door opens and you can advance to the next level. But the door will only open if you earn a certain number of stars, which you get by making points either by collecting treasures or breaking structures. To do this, you must use the weapons you grab to break structures and create avalanches to smash everything. Win all three stars!

Collect the treasures to earn the stars and thus open the stage door.

Super Squad

A defense and shooting game in which you control three warriors, each with their own characteristics and abilities, and you must defend your base of operations from enemy attacks. Unlike many games of the style, in Super Squad you must move the warriors from side to side to defend the attack lines. As you win, you'll earn special points to increase your group's abilities, and money to hire new warriors. Besides facing waves of enemies in each level, you also have to deal with powerful bosses in battles where you'll need to use the group's abilities to survive.

Use the special abilities of each character to eliminate the enemy hordes.

Dynamons

A Pokémon clone, and a very, very good one. In Dynamons you start with only one monster, but you can capture others as you fight and thus create a group that sweeps everything away. As in the Pikachu game, you can only catch creatures once they are weakened during battles. Then you can traverse the world map to train them so they gain experience, which allows them to level up and unlock new abilities. You can also switch monsters in the middle of the fight to defeat your opponent. If your team is too weak, you can go to hospitals, but be careful because they only treat every thirty minutes, so if you need healing you'll have to wait. If you like Pokémon, you'll love this game.

Prince of Slackers

There's no worse news than losing your job. And unfortunately, the protagonist of this game, a Flash developer, went through that because of the death of his platform, and he must scrounge for coins in couches to survive. Prince of Slackers is an almost idle game where you have to click on all the coins you find in the couch. At first you'll earn small fractions of cents, but later you can get upgrades in Prince of Slackers, such as making more coins appear or having the assistance of a small elf that helps you collect coins. So you can go for a walk, leaving the little elf in charge, and when you come back, who knows, maybe you'll be a millionaire.

Cuckoo Castle

A retro game with the aesthetic of the original classic Game Boy. Cuckoo Castle puts you in the role of a powerful knight who must rescue all the villagers who have been kidnapped by the evil king of a gloomy castle. A classic jump-and-fight style game, where you use the knight's sword to fight all the enemies that cross his path (zombies, ghosts, and skeletons, among various creatures of the night). There are also levers that open secret doors and portals to access restricted areas. Explore every corner of the castle to rescue the villagers.
