Bethesda has finally given us a look at DOOM: The Dark Ages, and it's everything we hoped for. The new trailer showcases a chainsaw shield that extends blades and cuts through everything in its path. There's also a shredder that converts the skulls of its victims into ammunition, an Atlan – the giant Sentinel robot that can kill Titans with its bare fists – and a dragon with cybernetic wings that is basically a fighter jet. And let's not forget the Godzilla-style execution at the end. All of this, with the Doomslayer wrapped in furs and his Super Shotgun ready to spread pain.
The Dark Ages puts us exactly where we wanted to be: the demonic invasion of Argent D'Nur and the rise of the Doomslayer as the Unchained Predator. The only thing Bethesda gave us about its release is 2025... but who can wait that long?
