If you enjoy alcoholic beverages, you've probably heard of Crystal Head, a Canadian vodka brand founded with the support of actor Dan Aykroyd and painter John Alexander. Setting aside opinions about the vodka itself, Crystal Head has two notable features: it's not particularly cheap (€50 per 700ml), and its crystal skull-shaped bottle steals all the attention. A forensic artist saw a hidden challenge in the bottle and reconstructed its 'face', using the skull as a base.
No, Indiana Jones has nothing to do with this. Disney says the next film will be released in 2021, as long as Harrison is in shape to do it (he'll be almost 78). The crystal skulls we're looking at today are related to vodka—Crystal Head, to be precise—and the skill of a Scottish forensic artist named Nigel. A couple of years ago, Nigel took a bottle of Crystal Head and started working on it, layer by layer, recreating its muscles. The final result is that of an apparently older man, very happy (intoxicated, perhaps?), with a disturbing glass smile... and a spike on top of his head, of course. I imagine the long hair was a strictly personal touch by Nigel, but it suits him. Now, I'd like another forensic artist to do the same thing to compare results...
