El Chapuzas Informático reported on October 30, 2026, that GPU prices rose 35% worldwide over a three-month period. The report attributed its model and country breakdowns to Hardware Unboxed, but did not specify the exact dates for that period. Its figures vary by card and market, so the 35% figure is not a price change that applies to every GPU or a U.S. retail quote.

Reported RTX changes vary by model and market

For the GeForce RTX 5090, the report attributed a 32% average increase to Hardware Unboxed, with reported increases of up to 43% in the Netherlands and the Philippines, 42% in Germany, and 40% in Australia. NeoTeo’s earlier report on September RTX 5090 prices in Europe covered a separate market snapshot.

The reported GeForce RTX 5080 average increase was 22%, ranging from 0% in Brazil to 40% in Germany. The report also listed 39% for the United States and 16% for the Netherlands. For the GeForce RTX 5050, it said U.S. prices went from $310 to $420 during October 2026, describing the change as a 35% monthly increase. Those are reported figures, not a uniform measure across GPU models.

U.S. Radeon RX 9000 prices in the Oct. 26–Nov. 1 tracker

Paul’s Hardware’s October 2026 U.S. GPU price watch

A November 2 report from vga.live listed median and lowest prices for new, in-stock U.S. listings sold by retailers themselves during October 26–November 1. The tracker excluded marketplace sellers and refurbished cards.

GPU modelMedian priceLowest price
Radeon RX 9070 XT$1,049.99$899.99
Radeon RX 9070$809.99$749.99
Radeon RX 9070 GRE$614.99$559.99
Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB$799.99$499.99
Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB$449.99$409.00

The median summarizes the listed prices in the tracker, while the lowest price is its least expensive qualifying listing. Neither is a guaranteed offer outside that observation window. Paul’s Hardware’s October U.S. price-watch video uses PCPartPicker data and includes a model-by-model spreadsheet and a historical price chart.

Two RX 9070 XT snapshots do not make a trendline

A separate U.S. snapshot from October 12 put the Radeon RX 9070 XT near $814. The later vga.live tracker listed $899.99 as its lowest qualifying price and $1,049.99 as its median. The dates, price measures, and tracking methods differ, so these observations do not provide a like-for-like price change.
