PlayStation lists Tempest 3D Audio, SSD-assisted loading and three DualSense functions for Grand Theft Auto VI on PS5. Its official game page also lists PS5 Pro Enhanced support and schedules the release for November 19, 2026.
The PS5 features PlayStation lists
The features span spatial audio, loading and controller feedback. PlayStation describes their functions this way:
| PS5 feature | What PlayStation says it does |
| Tempest 3D Audio | Provides enhanced, highly accurate audio positioning for Leonida’s soundscape. |
| PS5 ultra-high-speed SSD | Supports loading that PlayStation describes as near-instant. |
| DualSense haptic feedback | Responds to player choices and simulates environmental factors across Leonida and Vice City. |
| DualSense adaptive triggers | Provide dynamic resistance throughout the game. |
| DualSense integrated speaker | Plays sound effects for featured occurrences and interactions, often alongside haptic feedback. |
In practical terms, the list points to more than on-screen presentation: sound positioning, vibration, trigger resistance and controller-speaker effects are all part of the PS5 experience PlayStation describes. The page characterizes SSD-assisted loading qualitatively; it does not give a timed result.
PS5, PS5 Pro and PS4 support
PlayStation lists Grand Theft Auto VI for PS5 and marks it PS5 Pro Enhanced. The same page says the game will not be playable on PS4. The Pro designation identifies support, but it does not by itself tell players what a particular performance mode will deliver.
Brent Koepp reported for VICE on October 16, 2026 that the PS5 Pro Enhanced label does not confirm a 60 fps mode. That distinction matters if you’re weighing the label against a specific frame-rate expectation: the listing is not a 60 fps promise.
Scheduled release date
PlayStation schedules Grand Theft Auto VI for PS5 and PS5 Pro on November 19, 2026.
