Many times we create PDF files that are very important to us and we look for a straightforward solution to protect them with a password in a few steps. For this reason, we present ExcelPass, a platform that protects PDF files in batch without the need to open them. Besides protecting PDF files with a password, you can also protect XLSX, DOC, PPTX, and so on.
Once you have installed the program on your computer, you will need to add the file or files to its interface (XLSX, DOC, PPTX, DOCX, PPT, ZIP and XLS). In our tests, drag and drop files in batch worked perfectly.
At this point, you will need to enter the password in both the "Read Password" and "Write Password" fields, then select the documents and set the password protection for them. To do this, click on the padlock icon. If you want to remove the password protection, select the documents and click on the open padlock button.
Once the documents are protected, they will disappear from the platform interface and will be placed back in their original location. But when you try to open the file, a window will appear asking for the password to view it.
