You have probably wondered more than once if there is an extension to split the browser screen and view several pages in the same tab. If you've been asking yourself this question these days, we might have telepathic powers; otherwise, it's a nice introduction to present Janus Workspace.
We all face the problem when we open many websites in Chrome: tabs become very small and it's hard to identify the pages. Also, the browser and computer become slower. Well, don't worry anymore because the solution is not very complicated.
Once you download the component from its official page, in your Chrome browser you'll see the tool's icon in the browser's toolbar. Now you'll have to click on the extension's button and select the option “Open Janus Workspace New Tab”.
A new tab will open, where you can add several web frames from the “+” icon located at the bottom right of the tab. In each frame you can open a different website.
In each frame you can add the URL of each page and design the frames within the tab as you like (drag, resize, stretch, etc.), giving you the possibility to open as many frames as you need.
At the top right of the frame you'll see three icons: one to close it, one to open the webpage in a new tab, and the last one to refresh it. In our tests, the page opens in the same tab, and when you open a new Chrome tab, the frame design we made with the extension will appear. However, we've found a problem: when you enter a URL, it always adds the prefix https//, and in many cases it doesn't open the websites.
