In this guide, we'll show you a method to protect specific pages of a PDF file from copying. In this way, the selected pages become scanned pages, so nobody can copy the text. This method won't affect the rest of the PDF pages.
The fact that only the pages you select become scanned pages makes the platform unique. Other environments convert the entire file into a scanned PDF.
Using PDF Anti-Copy
Once you download the program from its official page, you'll notice its simple but polished interface. From there, we'll start to protect the file's pages against copying.
We'll begin to protect specific pages against copying. First, open a PDF file in the utility. You'll see the file's pages on the left (you can select which ones to protect). On the right, you'll see a preview of each page (you can use the zoom buttons to enlarge or reduce the view). At the bottom, you can choose the output folder and, with the “Start Now” button, start protecting the pages.
From the top buttons, you can navigate pages, close the utility, reset everything, zoom, select all pages, and of course add PDF files.
In our tests, the platform performed the protection against copying of the PDF file's pages quickly and effectively. We tried to copy a certain text from the selected pages and it was impossible. However, on the pages we hadn't selected, we could copy and paste text without problems.
Normally, we open a PDF file and can copy text, images, and links without any problem. But if at some point you want to protect some pages against copying, this platform protects specific pages. And all with a well-designed environment, easy to understand and, most importantly, it respects the output quality of the original PDF file as much as possible.
