We'll show you a very simple process for assigning a gamepad to games that don't support it. A large majority of games can only be played with a keyboard and mouse. AntiMicro will automatically detect the gamepad and, from its interface, show you all the keys you can assign (including DPad configuration options). The environment supports connecting multiple gamepads that you can configure one by one and then save the assigned configurations in a backup.
Personalizing the Gamepad
The tool uses prefabricated profiles to automatically obtain the precise design of the gamepad. However, if you still have trouble using the controller in the game, you can customize its options manually, reassigning buttons and actions.
Mapping Keys and Axis
With the axis mapping options, you can map keys and axis for the analog buttons. Simply touch an axis button in the program and a configuration pop-up will open (with default values). From there you can use the preset values. If they don't work, you can always do it manually.
To do this, you'll need to assign keyboard buttons for each direction and select the movement behavior. You can also set a maximum dead zone and configure mouse movements to specify cursor movements and clicks.
Mapping Buttons
To configure the mapping, all you have to do is touch the program's control button. At this point, the service will show you a keyboard layout. Then, you should touch a virtual keyboard button to start the mapping. You can also toggle mouse actions.
