At NeoTeo we want to make your Gmail experience easier. That's why we're going to explain a method to view the attachments (sent and received) in a sidebar of your Gmail account. From the panel you'll have access to all attachments with a single click to download them to your computer. For this task, we'll use the Dittach platform.
The tool also lets you go to the email of each attachment, so you can read the message text sent or received.
How to view Gmail attachments in a sidebar and download them
The first thing you need to do is go to the Dittach website and install the extension for the Google Chrome browser. At this point a pop-up window will appear where you have to click on 'Continue'. Then enter your Gmail username and password, and the extension will verify all attachments in your account.
Once the verification is finished, an icon will appear at the top right of your Gmail account that enables the sidebar. At the bottom right you'll see the paper clip icon. There you'll enable the filter options for received or sent attachments (PDF, DOC, Music, Videos, etc.).
Now you can click on an attachment and it will open as a pop-up window in the center of the screen; on the right side you'll have access to all its details (format, date, download, Forward, Share, etc.). Most importantly, you can access the email to gather information.
The method offered by Dittach to quickly access all the attachments stored in your Gmail account is really good. Our experience has been very positive and we recommend using it.
