The need to extract a bit more performance from our hardware and Windows' inevitable whims trap us in an eternal dance of maintenance and optimization to keep the operating system from falling apart. From slow startup to core control, everything can be modified in some way, but if you're looking for a program to improve PC performance in Windows, you might want to try Pegasun System Utilities.
Years and versions pass, but priorities are always the same. Sooner or later we must optimize Windows in some way, in an attempt to preserve the health of our current installation and postpone (even if a little) the hardware update cycles that Redmond has gotten us used to.

Windows 11 Manager and TweakPower are some of the examples we've mentioned recently, but today I'd like to add Pegasun System Utilities, in its latest version 6.75. What exactly is it? It's a package of tools designed to improve PC performance in Windows and perform other secondary maintenance tasks.
How to improve PC performance with Pegasun System Utilities
The first thing Pegasun does is offer the possibility of a “one-click maintenance”, but I recommend not following that route. Instead, click on the toolbox and check each of its functions individually. The first one is cleaning, which from a certain point of view behaves like a clone of classic CCleaner. Windows loves to regenerate many of the files it deletes, so the result will never be perfect.
The startup manager does exactly what its title says. From here you can view the entries of programs that start with the operating system, as well as scheduled tasks. Disabling or deleting these entries are the most important values, and depending on your configuration, you might want to experiment with both.
The so-called Service Manager configures operating system services following online optimization guides, Privacy Protection has several settings to disable telemetry and other Windows components, the Tuning section applies more than two dozen registry changes, and then we find functions that belong to the Pro edition, such as spyware protection via the Hosts file, and other automatic tasks.
