Apple lists Instagram for Apple TV in the US App Store as a free download with in-app purchases. The app requires tvOS 26.0 or later.

What Instagram brings to Apple TV

Apple’s listing describes Reels, longer videos and shows, live shows, creator discovery, and the ability to pick up where you left off across screens. It also says viewers can enjoy Instagram with friends and family. The US listing gives the app a size of 660.9 MB and an age rating of 13+. See Instagram in the US App Store.

Install the app or mirror your screen

The native Apple TV app and AirPlay screen mirroring are two different ways to watch. Apple’s Apple TV 4K instructions say to open the App Store, search for Instagram, select the app and choose Get for a free download. For mirroring, Apple’s general instructions use an iPhone or iPad on the same Wi-Fi network as Apple TV: open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then select the TV. Apple cautions that some video apps might not support AirPlay.
