DC Comics TV shows are at their best, and fans are going wild: the crossover of the year is coming with Invasion!, a series of special episodes where Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow unite in an epic battle against an alien race.
While DC Comics faces challenges on the big screen with its most prominent heroes, television has been surprising fans with a range of superhero series. It all started with Arrow, the story of the Green Arrow vigilante, which opened the door for The Flash, the scarlet speedster. That is how the Arrowverse was created, a shared universe where both shows have held the so-called annual crossover events. In these special episodes, a common storyline runs across the series, like the one we saw last year that gave rise to the Legends of Tomorrow series.

This year brings the third annual Arrowverse event, titled Invasion!, inspired by the comic miniseries of the same name published in 1989. However, the plot will not only unfold in Arrow and The Flash, but will also include Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow. The events at the end of Supergirl's "Medusa" episode, airing November 28, will mark the start of the crossover, which will officially begin on November 29 with The Flash, followed by Arrow on November 30, and conclude with Legends of Tomorrow on December 1. Each of the last three episodes will also be titled "Invasion!".
