The iPhone 18 Pro may show up to three simultaneous Live Activities in Dynamic Island under a reported iOS 27 arrangement: no more than two from apps, with a system activity in the third slot. The claim appeared in a post dated October 4, 2026.
The reported two-app, one-system split
In the reported arrangement, an app could occupy either of the first two positions, but the third would be reserved for a system activity. The overall limit described for iPhone 18 Pro is up to three activities at once.
| Activity type | Reported iOS 27 arrangement | Examples |
| App activities | Up to two | Live Activities from apps |
| System activity | One, in the third position | Now Playing, navigation or an ongoing call |
Examples of the system activity
Now Playing, navigation and an ongoing call are the examples named for the third position. Under the reported rule, that spot would not be available for a third app activity.
