Traditional television refuses to change, streaming services seek a new balance with price adjustments and sponsored accounts... and the user wants alternatives. The problem is that many of them are being legally pursued, when in reality they behave like an index. The case of TDT Channels gained relevance for that same reason, but its developers fulfilled their return, and the official site is working perfectly.
IPTV-org: The best source of free IPTV lists
Now, what happens if we want more precise control over the signals? The answer is to search for IPTV lists on our own. Although there are many malicious sources that bury their lists in horrible sites, luckily there is an exception in the IPTV-org project. With more than 30,000 channels in its database, IPTV-org publishes all its updates on GitHub, and the lists are one click away, without accounts, profiles, tokens, or credits.
The IPTV lists are divided into four categories: Genre, language, country, and region. There is also a master list that includes all channels, and a reduced version that removes NSFW feeds. The rest is a matter of using an appropriate player and loading the list in m3u format. What kind of player? Any that supports streaming and playlists should work well, and that includes both mobile versions and Smart TVs. When in doubt, VLC Player is an excellent starting point.
