How Qira’s local and hybrid modes work
Lenovo describes two processing modes. Local mode uses on-device AI alone, while hybrid mode combines on-device processing with cloud services; selected requests may be handled in the cloud. Some features may be limited or unavailable in local mode.

Qira connects to more apps, with availability varying
Lenovo named six services for connections through Workato: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar. The company also described integrations with Notion, for accessing and editing project information, and Perplexity, for expanded research features. Availability and functionality can vary by market, service and account type.
Which devices are included in Lenovo’s expansion?
Lenovo announced support for eligible PCs with 16 GB of memory. That threshold applies to eligible configurations, not automatically to every Lenovo PC with 16 GB.
The Motorola rollout covers selected eligible edge, signature and razr devices as they receive Android 17 upgrades, with timing varying by device and market. Lenovo also named the moto watch ultra as the first wearable slated to support Qira. As of September 3, 2026, Lenovo said Qira supported six languages.
