The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i Gen 11 Aura Edition is a plausible fit for creators who move between work spots, but its battery life is a meaningful trade-off: in a review published May 9, 2026, MakeUseOf’s Brandon Miniman reported 4–5 hours under moderate-to-heavy use at medium brightness. Its 84 Wh battery is a capacity specification, not a runtime figure.
TechRadar’s review, published October 17, 2026, described using the laptop for meetings, writing, benchmarking, and light photo and video editing. That’s a useful mix for a mobile creator, though the reported battery observation makes long stretches away from an outlet harder to plan around. Miniman’s review supplies the concrete runtime observation.
A detailed OLED display and a useful port selection
Lenovo’s Spain product listing specifies a 15.3-inch OLED touchscreen with WQXGA resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 pixels and a 165 Hz variable refresh rate. It is not a 4K display. Lenovo also lists DisplayHDR True Black 1000, coverage of 100% of the sRGB, P3 and Adobe RGB color spaces, Delta E<1 color accuracy, and peak brightness of 1,100 nits. These are manufacturer-listed specifications. (Lenovo’s product specifications)
For editing, the resolution and color coverage make the panel a strong part of the laptop’s creator-focused pitch. But in his May 9, 2026 review, Miniman found the glossy screen difficult to see outdoors. A bright panel specification does not erase that practical glare problem.
The listed ports include two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, an SD UHS-II card reader, two USB-A ports rated at 10 Gbps, and a combined audio jack. That mix gives you ways to connect common peripherals and external displays without relying on USB-C alone. Lenovo lists the Yoga Pen Gen 2 as optional and says accessories vary by region and bundle.
Battery life and carrying weight
Lenovo lists an 84 Wh battery and a starting weight of 3.64 pounds. Miniman reported 4–5 hours before recharging on his review unit, under moderate-to-heavy use at medium brightness. Treat that as his observed result for those conditions when deciding whether the laptop fits a day of work away from a charger.
Miniman also reported that the fans were audible even under light loads and that the laptop reached its thermal limit relatively easily. Those observations give mobile buyers another practical consideration alongside battery life, especially if they expect to work in quiet spaces.
What the benchmark results say
MakeUseOf’s May 9, 2026 review published these results for its Yoga Pro 7i and ASUS Zenbook A16 review samples. The Yoga posted lower scores in all four listed CPU tests; the sequential read results were close, while the Yoga’s sequential write figure was lower.
| Test | Yoga Pro 7i | ASUS Zenbook A16 |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 2,774 | 3,685 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 16,468 | 22,227 |
| Cinebench 2026 single-core | 504 | 593 |
| Cinebench 2026 multi-core | 3,865 | 6,227 |
| CrystalDiskMark sequential read | 6,977 MB/s | 6,928 MB/s |
| CrystalDiskMark sequential write | 3,434 MB/s | 5,873 MB/s |
TechRadar identified an RTX 5060 in its reviewed Yoga Pro 7i. That GPU designation applies to the reviewer’s unit; it does not identify the configuration behind the US starting price.
Yoga Pro 7i or Yoga Pro 9i?
TechRadar’s Collin Probst described the 15-inch Yoga Pro 7i as easier to carry than the 16-inch Yoga Pro 9i Gen 11 Aura Edition. He pointed to the 7i for buyers who carry a laptop in a standard backpack or work at a small café table, and to the 9i for desk-based buyers who want more screen space. That’s a practical choice between a smaller display for moving around and a larger one for a mostly stationary setup, not a measured weight comparison. Probst’s October 17, 2026 review gives the comparison.
US price and who it suits
TechRadar’s review, published October 17, 2026, reported a US starting price of $2,599.99 for the base configuration. It separately put its slightly upgraded review unit at about $2,700.
The Yoga Pro 7i makes the most sense if you want an OLED creator laptop that is easier to carry than the larger 16-inch Yoga Pro 9i and can recharge between demanding work sessions. For buyers who spend most of their time at a desk and want more display space, TechRadar points to the Yoga Pro 9i Gen 11 Aura Edition.
