Local Area Security Audit Tool is a program that thoroughly scans your computer for vulnerabilities in both the system and the network, allowing you to find security irregularities and generate a complete report.
This audit of the system and network (including Wi-Fi) shows results divided into four categories: the red ones require immediate repair, while the green ones need no attention.
Once you download the program from its official page, you'll see a simple interface where you can select which options to analyze, then click the 'Start' button and wait for the platform to deliver results.
When the audit finishes, the utility will ask you to choose a web browser to display the results. It classifies them by color: red ones are the most vulnerable, yellow ones are data at risk, and light blue and green ones are safe data that doesn't need repair.
The platform is really easy to use, although it takes several minutes to analyze if you select all options. It then provides a detailed and easy-to-understand report. However, we miss the ability to scan open ports and a system to repair the holes in our system and network.
